Gaming Round-Up

Some industry news and information for gamers like myself.

Mass Effect 3 Citadel DLC

I swore that I was done with BioWare after the whole disappointing ending fiasco and broken promises but this DLC might just pull me back in for another jaunt.

One last adventure with your team in Mass Effect 3: Citadel. When a sinister conspiracy targets Commander Shepard, you and your team must uncover the truth, through battles and intrigue that range from the glamour of the Citadel’s Wards to the top-secret Council Archives. Uncover the truth and fight alongside your squad, including Urdnot Wrex! When the adventure is over, reconnect with your favourite characters from the Mass Effect Trilogy, try your luck at the Citadel’s Silver Coast Casino, blow off steam in the Armax Combat Arena, or explore and furnish Shepard’s own living quarters on the Citadel. With unique content and cinematics in the Mass Effect trilogy, Mass Effect 3: Citadel offers one final chance to see the characters you have known for years.

Mass Effect 3: Citadel comes out on March 5th on Xbox 360 and PC (1200 MS/BioWare Points) and on March 6th on PlayStation 3 (£11.99).

Far Cry 3 - New Features and Changes in Patch 1.05

Latest update for Far Cry 3

Highly anticipated game Tomb Raider for PC. Had pretty good reviews and ratings everywhere, time will tell on this one once all the hype has died down.

Tomb Raider explores the intense and gritty origin story of Lara Croft and her ascent from a young woman to a hardened survivor. Armed only with raw instincts and the ability to push beyond the limits of human endurance, Lara must fight to unravel the dark history of a forgotten island to escape its relentless hold. The Turning Point trailer shows a glimpse of the beginning of Lara’s adventure.

Recoil Games announces new DLC for puzzle-platformer Rochard. Titled ‘Hard Times’, the new content will include four new puzzle levels: ‘Container Chaos’, ‘Shaft Shuffle’, ‘Brainyard’ and ‘Assembly Line’.

The ‘Hard times’ DLC is available soon for Rochard on Windows PC, Mac, and Linux on Steam. The original Rochard is also available for download on PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network.
