5 Centimeters Per Second

A beautiful story of yearning, isolation and a sense of loss with a just hint of hope for good measure. The artwork is stunning and is truly one of my favourite films.

I personally prefer the Japanese version with subtitles because I think it loses something essential, especially when it is brutalised by bad voice acting. I linked the English dubbed version for people who don't like to read when watching films - lol...enjoy.

Synopsis -

Told in three interconnected segments, we follow a young man named Takaki through his life as cruel winters, cold technology and finally, adult obligations and responsibility converge to test the delicate petals of love. Source : IMDB
